Yo-Bo Bap’s mission is to introduce the flavors of Korea in a new and exciting way and to offer customers an affordable, healthy and totally satisfying meal. 

Yo-Bo Bap is a mobile food truck business that will sell Korean fusion meals in West Lafayette, with an initial focus on the campus of Purdue University. Founded by Kyong Gaylord, a second generation Korean-American who was raised on the traditional Korean food cooked by her grandmother. She was also inspired by her husband, a native of Indiana, who enjoyed the taste of traditional Korean food combined with his American comfort foods.  Yo-Bo Bap (translated as “Spouse’s Meal”)  is Korean flavors with an American-Midwest twist.  Every bite will be a journey for the senses, introducing new Korean flavors into familiar American cuisine like wraps and subs. The company will fill a gap in the West Lafayette market for new and innovative foods which are tasty, convenient, and  affordable.
